Seventh-round CB Darryl Roberts is getting some reps with the starters.
The Patriots have holes to fill at the cornerback position and Roberts has athletic ability. The Marshall product ran a 4.36 at the Combine and also banged out 28 reps on the bench. "Roberts keeps making a play a day and is a dark horse to steal a cornerback job," says the Boston Herald.

All I've heard from up here is how great Garoppolo is, just like I heard how great Cassel was, then Hoyer, then Mallett. They were all going to succeed Brady and lead to a seamless transition.
