Fact: I found this place while walking our dog with my girlfriend yesterday. Easily the scariest place I have ever been. I didn't discover the history of the place till I googled it when we go home. This is off Annapolis road, 450, right outside of DC.
Its funny because when you watch horror movies, you think places like this dont exist, specially around the city...then I found all these abandoned building and had to walk up the drive way; and found myself in the middle of an abandoned campus. They have deserted gas stations, garages, greenhouses, and 23 buildings, all empty with windows broken and grafiti.
There is reportedly underground tunnels to the mortuary for the TB patients that died in different dorms. 1,000s of people died on this property from TB or the nursing home that ws open in the 80s, and the 15 mile abandoned campus is sitting, rotting, less than 10 miles outside of DC.

I ain't scared of no ghosts
I honestly havent decided if I want to go back and take pictures from the inside myself. Its intense just looking from the outside into the windows. As patients were dying of TB, those were the windows they sat at, looked out in their wheel chairs, in their final days. There are still wheel chairs and hospital beds in the halls.
