Do we give him a tryout?!?

I'm obviously kidding but if we had Favre in 09, we win a rings

He could still start on this team.
LOLz for what, a game before his body betrayed him??

i'll say this much, i would bet money he still has a better arm then some/most starters in the league..

but he got the hell beat out of himself his last season with the vikings & he was already (pro football wise) an old guy..

father time is still undefeated but of course you know this as well..

HYATT™ will still take an INT in postseason to lose, over no postseason at all.
Favre, for all his flaws, was FUN to watch, win OR lose.
12 playoffs in 19 seasons, and not one of those non-playoff seasons due to HIS bad play.
'92 - Packers weren't ready at (9-7), but would be for the next 6 seasons.
'99 - HC change and a lot of injuries decimated the (8-8) GB team.
'00 - Same story as '99, different new HC.
'05 - total destruction of the roster by new (4-12) GM Terd Clarence Thompson.
'06 - Favre carried the team for 12 games, until an improving defense could win the last four. Statistically not a good year for Favre or a talentless receiving corps. Multiple INTs probably cost the Packers 5 games in '06, offset by 5 mistake-free wins.
'08 - You all know the story before & after he tore his lateral bicep nearly off the bone. (9-7) was good enough to keep Hoodie out of the playoffs, at least.
'10 - Aside from a crappy MIN team, '10 COULD be laid at his feet - LITERALLY - coming off a late May surgery on the left one in '10.

It was evident his career was over after the Great Mugging of '09 in N.O. almost tore his foot off the ankle.
How he managed to even go back on the field after these hammy & ankle injuries, blows HYATT™'s mind.
Talk about a 1-legged man in an ass-kicking contest, Favre (310 yards/61%) out-passed & out-played Brees (197 yards/55%).

Favre is BETTER even now than anything we have on our roster. Smith and the other guy suck and couldn't even carry Favre's jockstrap. That's just a fact as painful as it is to hear.

I would hope the Jets would sign him. I can't imagine his body holding for an entire season, but if the OL could keep him clean, he would tear up the AFC East.

Brett Favre is 45 years old. This is laughable. If you honestly think he'd outplay either Geno Smith or Ryan Fitzpatrick right now, I don't know what else to say to you. Favre would fall into about 10 pieces if he were hit hard by a DE this season. That ship sailed years ago.

This garbage really does need to stop. Hyatt didn't start this thread, he just contributed to it. Now, if you want to continue with your personal attacks, I'll just let Hyatt deal with you himself.........which, by the way, you're in over your head. Then, you'll really have something to complain about.

Like I posted, I'm not sure Favre's body would hold up, but if the OL kept him on his feet he would be easily 3 times of an upgrade over Geno Smith.

Laughable my A$$. Favre is a first ballot Hall of Famer. Geno is yesterdays trash you sold out Jets fan.

Johnny Unitas, Joe Namath, Sid Luckman, Norm Van Brocklin and Sammy Baugh are hall of fame guys too. Like Favre, they too are also washed up. Unlike Favre, the majority of them are deceased like those innocent herbivores you shoot

Why don't we bring in Johnny Unitas while we're at it? He'd be better than Geno, too. Not much difference between a dead guy and Brett Favre at this stage. What's laughable is that anyone would actually consider bringing in the geriatric.

Maybe in his prime, but HYATT™ is too far down the road to bother with the whole "set the attacker's pants on fire, toss him in the hole of his own making, and shovel the dirt in on top of him" thingy these days.

With age comes wisdom......and laziness.
With laziness comes that ennui that says; "Don't bother trying to stop stupid people from saying stupid shit anymore", 'cuz you no longer shiv-a-git.
What little life I have left is so much more pleasant that way.
