They actually use some kind of math for thier number which is way too complicated for me to understand. It's flawed, Pats fans suck!

Prior to January 2002, as in the day Walt Coleman invented the "Double Elimination NFL playoffs", there were NO pat fans.

The team played in a half empty broken down high school quality dump, the NFL was trying to move them to St. Louis and the drunken chowder heads spent their autumn and winters with Saux hot stove discussion, the Broons and duckpin bowling leagues.

Here is a quote from the study:

"The Jets position might be somewhat surprising, but this team draws well, and has great pricing power without a lot of winning on the field."

Not sure what they mean by pricing power, but it sounds like we are high on the list because as fans we support our team despite high ticket prices and a team that does not win consistently. Aren't we lucky?

Before Mo hit Bledsoe, the Pats were merely a diversion from when the Sox got eliminated to when pitchers and catchers reported.

Boston being a baseball town, it's still that way for a majority of locals.
The nutjob baked bean farters are just more vocal and get the press.

I call BS on this study and would truly love to know what fan the writer is of.

I'am not writing as a biased fan & i'am sure it will read that way once i've expressed what i'am about to type:

The Jets fans of New York are the most loyal above any other in football. We're like Cubs fans in baseball, The Maple leafs in Hockey or the Knicks in the NBA. We've been through hell as fans. Searching for a QB, Searching for the right coach, Searching for a title.

The way the Jets lose games:

AJ Dewey
Fake spike
Butt Fumble
The game Randall went down in '93 as we were up by 21 then lost with an amazing return by Eric Allen picking off Boomer.
..on and one and on...

YET........YET....YET, we are still there. Chanting every game pushing our team to win. No stopping. It would be easy to just say, screw it, i'am done and walk away or even root for another team to become a band-wagoner.

Nope not us, we watch evey game even when the season is lost. Sure we will bicker at each other and have our differences but the common denominator is that we will always stick around because we know deep in our hearts that our beloved Green and White will win that title once (or more) again.

Funny how on that list they left off the Cleveland Browns, as their fans petitioned the city to BRING THEIR TEAM BACK after they left for Baltimore. Then did as an expansion team. Hell, even the Detroit Lions who haven't seen a title in 57 years, their fans are right their with us being the best. Sporting their colors just as us when we lose or get blown out.

Pats? Ravens?, please give it a rest. The top fans are the ones that stick around when their teams are in constant droughts and still proclaim their respective team even when they get ridiculed. Those are true fans, not fans that just won the Superbowl.

Pats fans?? Lick this!

Best fans? Not to hard to find, if you've read this, then you know your part of the #1 fan base in the United States!

Yea, the ravens haven't really had any major downturn since they moved to Baltimore.
And NE had won 4 super bowls and is in the playoffs every year, how do you determine they are the best with out any metric to weed out front runners? Purely nonsense

Jets fans are extremely loyal I will give them that but are also some of the biggest curmudgeons on the planet which I believe has aided in the teams own downfall at times.

Why we are so die-hard I'm not so sure but no one can question that we.

Bills and Browns fans are bottom 5?

Sorry, I'm calling BS on this study. These teams have some of the most dedicated and die-hard fans I know of.

Bills and Browns fans are bottom 5?

Sorry, I'm calling BS on this study. These teams have some of the most dedicated and die-hard fans I know of.
I'll bite.
The Packers fans have won all 13, or is it 14, Campbell Souper Bowl contests, where they give away a bunch of soup to the charity of the team that punches the most votes to win each year.
In that 15 year span, ONLY the Bills fans gave the Packers any measure of competition at all, and nearly won after taking the lede late in the vote's head tp head final week.
Those people are CRAZY!

They worked tirelessly for almost 30 hours straight, trying to maintain their lede against the impossibly larger number of Packers fans around the world and it was only in the waning hours - after HYATT™ rang up, emailed, and/or actually drove to every known Packers site, radio & TV station, and/or newspaper, to feature a call to arms - that the contest was won by GB fans.

HYATT™ has nothing BUT respect for those fans.
