No Preseason Live This Year

For the out of towners, NFL.com is not offering Preseaon Live this summer, you have to subscribe to "Domestic Game Pass" that does not even have pricing. Here is the response from the NFL when I inquired:

Thank you for the inquiry.

We are not offering the NFL Preseason Live as a stand alone subscription, preseason games will be available with the new NFL Domestic Game Pass subscriptions. Packages and pricing have not been released at this time, you can go here nfl.com/gamepass for more information.

That sucks. Being in Chicago, I have always subscribed to preseason live. It was well worth the $20 to see the 4 preseason games. I have bought their in season package once or twice, looks like I will do that again depending on what they charge.

Greedy turds.

Preseason live was the only package the NFL offered that I thought was worth it.

Just went to the link Johnnysd provided.

I don't even want most of that crap they are going to force on us except coaches film. If I understand it correctly you can't even watch the regular season games till the next day.

I received an e-mail about this on 7-2 but assumed they were just putting another package together for people who wanted it. Never dreamed they were dumping the stand alone pre-season games.

I guess they are waiting on the pricing to see how suckers they can they can draw interest from.

I wonder how long it will be before the NFL kills the golden goose with greed and mismanagement at he top

#407-936-0867 is the number I just called to make sure my credit card would not be charged automatically.

I get game rewind for free because I am a season ticket holder. At least I think they'll offer it again. If so, whoever wants to, can just pm me for the password to the account. I've given it to renegade before so I know for sure it works on other devices that are not registered as my own.

Just called the NFL. I guess they have finally put a price on the new "preseason package" $99. 5 x more then the $20 last year.

Game re-wind has also been cancelled. I didn't see any point in squawking to the kid on the phone, but I did send an e-mail to the NFL along the lines of

With the integrity of the league in question, the Pats caught cheating in the play-offs..................again, one would think the NFL would be looking to repair the damage with their fans.

Instead they are trying to choke the final penny out of us for what is spiraling into a weak version of the WWE.

Think I'll find something else to do this fall. Thank you

Looks like Game Rewind is being replaced by Game Pass which was linked in JohnnySD's post above.

Any idea jetfrantik how long in advance they will be announcing when each game will be shown?

Some of these games are on at 3am. Tape em I guess.

99.99 game pass for new subscribers to the package . 69.99 for people who had a subscription to game rewind.

Last year Jets provided a code for season tickets holders free access to game rewind. It may have been league wide for all STJs I'm checking to see if they are going to do the same thing this season with game pass

Called the Jets. Got this preliminary email response


Just got word we are working with the league to find out which benefits/ discounts we will be getting for NFL rewind. Once we have all that information and promotion codes, we will email them out!

If you are a STH, I'd recommend waiting to hear from the Jets before plunking down your 70 bucks and then having to make phone calls to get a refund

Jets vs Lions is on at 4AM CT / 5AM ET on Friday AM morning following the game according to Comcast
