I agree with this decision. He looks like he doesn't care and his play has split his team apart.

They have a worse QB situation then we do. Cutler has such a huge contract, they have virtually no maneuverability.

Any team that trades for Cutler will get him for a low level pick, 6th or 7th. Bears will probably have to agree to pay some more of the guaranteed money for it to workout.

What were they thinking with that contract if they were unsure of him?

god I hope he's not a jet by march. it'll just mean we'll be mediocre for a bit longer. let's start fresh with a young qb. we all know that cutler isn't any good.

I agree we should start fresh but he would be the best qb we have had since favre.

Agreed with this when I first read it. Then I went into Jason's site and looked at the structure of his contract. Holy crap! Unless he is going to bloom into Rodgers Manning, or Brady next year, just can't do it. His #'s are unreal.

I don't think anyone is going to trade even a 7th for that contract. Even if the Bears pick up some of the guaranteed money next season, in following years it's just to much unless he's one of the top 3-4 QB's in the NFL.

If there is an interest wait until he is cut, then redo a contract with him. He won't do it voluntarily, like Harvin, why should he?
