Savage, I hear what your saying. But what was Mc Daniels when he took over as HC 34? I think/hope he's matured, and grown, he was, and is, very good as an OC.

Personally, if I had my choice (I know I'm going to get beat up over this) I'd bring back Rex. For the same reasons. Hopefully he's grown, and can be a better HC.

Rex, at this point in time, probably isn't a likely option, so If I've got a gun to my head, I'm going with Mc Daniels.

Not by me LOL Rex is one of my all time favorite Jet coaches along with Walt Michaels and the Tuna.. I was never a big Weeb fan.

I want a new non AFC East HC/GM...not sure of my GM but I have time to find one...and right now IF Sean Payton is gone, and I think he will be, he is one of the few retreads on my list

sean payton is a hell of a HC.. it's kinda strange him to the jets hasn't gotten much traction..

frankly i believe payton would be a much better choice for us over harbaugh or mcdaniels..

Like others have said, if Rex is gone and Sean Payton is free then I'm all for him as the next HC.

We need any offense minded HC. I don't think its likely Payton is available but you never know. We have a good defensive base and as long as he had a good DC then he can focus on fixing the Offense.

I know many have speculated they don't get along but can you imagine Payton and Rob Ryan together in NY?
