Optimism for Geno Smith?

Why the F does every thread turn into a Geno thread?? Let it play out!! If you hate him then just let it be because we all know who y'all are and your opinions. At least when people say something good about him it is different from years past since he has never been very good.

if smith in a sink or swim season is ends up "swimming" he will have earned all the credit in the world & he will absolutely get that credit from me..

but come on BX, he's been solid/flashed since his rookie year (7 on 7's) when the lights are low..

let's see how he plays when he's not wearing a red practice jersey because that's when smith has struggled..

No problem with that, completely agree. I'm just not writing him off before he gets a chance in this offense . He is still a developing player

Well whether you like it or not, it's going to continue. Smith is the most polarizing player on the team, and the 2015 hopes, or failures of the NY Jets, more then any other player on the team are in his hands.

Sorry. You are right. It can be managed better. I was hoping once the season starts that everything would fall into place and people will have more than just Geno to talk about. Waiting until the season may be too late!

Two years as the worst in the league...everyone but his fault

3 days of August TC....he's all better now

And then attacks the majority of Jet fans as "haters"


If hating a crappy QB who has stunk up two seasons as the worst QB in the NFL and not wanting him to ruin another is wrong and hateful, include me in with the majority of Jet fans

If Petty started this year where would he end up? About dead last. That's why he is not starting, the coaches know that. But fans like you would rip him after he finished dead last. And fans like you would also start him over Geno this year, so that speaks for itself

Geno playing really badly is an unfortunate two full season nightmare reality

The vast majority of Jet fans are not excited about the third sequel
