DB Walls taking reps at Safety

Bowles is known in his career for making the best use of DBs talents. I'm actually pretty excited about this move. Bowles did some amazing things with Tyrann Mathieu in Arizona and it would seem like playing Walls behind Gilchrist, also a converted CB to FS is a smart idea. Walls was always a "solid CB," just not spectacular and flashy, but solid cover skills. This could be a good move for him. He's 6'0 and ran a 4.43 at the combine...this may benefit us long term as another guy/depth at safety to match up with the TEs in our division (Gronk, Cameron, and Clay).

I don't mind doing this with your role guys, like Walls. My problem with Rex was when he was taking the two best guys in the secondary and moving them out of position, and starting them out of position. But experiments with role and depth players? No problem with trying it here.

I could be wrong, my memory is not what it used to be, but I'm pretty sure Walls played some safety in college.

If memory serves me he played both, cornerback and safety.
