We'll move forward with Fitz. Up to this point, we were banking on Geno's potential. No longer need to be hypothetical or get caught in this what if game. Let's go with the vet and design the offense around him.

Marshall is probably pissed.

Sorry, I didn't feel it was definitive he would have been better, I think there is a "chance" due to superior talent. Definitely not definitive. That wasn't my point.

There's a chance Geno can be the guy, no chance Fitz can. His 10+ years prove that, including him and chan never winning more than 6 games together...

Take this with a huge grain of salt, but Cimini is reporting Petty haslooked so lost in practice they're actively looking for a back up QB to be #2 and Petty won't get bumped up. Definitely not ready.

I believe he's light years from being ready and no one should be surprised about that...except dan and Sg3 I guess. They did call him Russell Wilson...who was the #1 QB heading into his first preseason game (it was always a silly comparison).

Oh, he is absolutely not ready to be #2 . I would very much actively seek a backup.

As for Fitz, I think he gives you the best view of what the team is, QB neutral. He won't lose you much of anything, he won't win you much of anything. The team will be what the team is.
