Geno Smith Out 6-10 Weeks

I have not been posting and this could be the last but I needed to be say this. I will tell you from 1st hand experience if someone in your face pointing a finger in it talking BS it is threatening and cause for alarm. ON two occasions while continuing to verbal pursue things with others I have had my nose broken and been ear slapped so hard it rung my bell for a weeks. It is tough to defend yourself after either of those things happen.

From that point on anyone stepping up to me went down 1st and hard. I would have down exactly what IK did without a 2nd thought. Geno wanted to be aggressive and it was answered with aggression.. Too bad for him. I am sure this was what Geno's teammates take on it is also.

said he was sucker punched. had no chance to defend himself/hit back. said players broke it up. if you're going to hit someone, don't do it with their back turned. pretty cowardly......

Anyone blaming Geno for this or glad this happened are BRAINDEAD and not Jet fans.....they should have it happen to them

it's kind of amazing (well probably pathetic is the better word) the reaction of some here. i mean i was down on geno and dubious as to whether he could turn it around on the field, and have already said this whole incident reflects badly on him if what is alleged is true.

but we actually have people here saying that geno is the one guilty of assault and what IK did was self defense.

is this bizarro world or something??? i don't know...maybe geno's jaw hurt IK's hand and thus he should go to jail. it's like if the guy is a bad QB and plays for (and hurts) your team, the rules are different and the one with the broken jaw is the criminal and the guy who busted his jaw in what their coach called a cheap-shot and sucker-punch is the victim.

now i don't think geno will or should press charges. but if this happened in real life, i'd have to think the one getting arrested is not the one who has the broken jaw. but if you are a bad QB, the laws of civilization don't apply.

and we wonder why people mock the jets and its fans...

Walk up to someones face point your finger in it and call them brain dead and see where things progress. I'm not sure you would care for the dirrection.

No they are cutting a bubble player from defending himself from a turd who according to law committed an assault on him. At least according to the eye witnesses who are team mates of both of them.

What some feel to realize is after someone walks up you raises a hand to your face and is talking trash to you what happens next? Should you wait to find out what they have on their mind next or should you end it yourself 1st. Once you live through some bad endings being proactive is my choice of action. I never step into someones face but if they choose to do it to me they were aggressor and they set things in motion..

I am sure I wouldn't..but I wouldn't criminally assault someone over it....

and in the "hood" this leads to more guys getting blown away shot than anything...a guy waves a finger..a guy punches him and then the guy gets shot

Walking across a room raising you hands to someones face and talking BS and getting punched for it before the person bringing things to close quarters has a chance to escalate again in no way equates to being shot for looking at someone the wrong way.
