Why do I fear when all is said and done we're gonna lament losing IK (forever) more than losing Geno to a broken jaw?

Only way IK becomes a HOF'er is by cheating like Belicheck. The Jets won't even know he is gone.
I don't mean HOF literally, its an exaggeration to make a point, with our luck he'll become a good NFL player for the Bills, a good pass rusher, and the guy we kept, Geno, will never amount to anything.

Ham, you are a true Jets fan. However, I don't think we lose this one. We have the most serious HC and GM since Parcells. Don't think he got this wrong. Our fortune has changed and Bowles/Mac directly and indirectly are weeding out (no pun intended) the leftover clowns and IK, Sheldon, and Geno are just the latest. Rome was not built in a day, and in the Jets case, 45 years.....
They both will never amount to anything. I'm trying to have a new outlook on the Jets. I'm tired of letting SOJ fan creep into my mind every time there is adversity. The old garbage culture left from Rex will take time to change.
Am I the only one who sees something wrong with a player breaking somebody's jaw, and several days later getting picked up by another team? I know Geno hasn't pressed charges, but how does a guy go from crushing a man's face to suiting up for another team a few hundred miles away? There's something tragically ironic about that.
Needs to be a league suspension but I'm sure there can't be. I agree this guy deserves some punishment besides having to play in Buffoonlo!!!
Not gonna lie, it bothers me that this guy could be suiting up for a division rival Thursday night after all but wrecking our season on Monday. There is definitely something obscene about it, but I'm sure Rex is loving it.

I suppose so, cop, I'm just really down on this team right now after the Sheldon debacle and now this. Maybe in a few days I'll feel better about it, but right now I'm just disgusted.
I felt much better today than yesterday. We got our first pre season game and I'm not gonna let dumb asses like IK, Geno, or Sheldon Richardson ruin it for me. F them, they can't hang with us, and in the long run, Bowels and the rest of this organization will be better off without them.
Most people in the media seem to think Geno deserved it because he did not show leadership or some such shit, and wagged a finger at IK, which in thugville completely OKs breaking someone's jaw.
The Bills picking up IK tells you everything you need to know about Ryan. Ryan is an immature asshole who wants nothing more than to play the loud, stupid, undisciplined, and obnoxious bully, and his teams reflect that aura. This is an immature, in your face move that hopefully backfires on the Bills.

IK needs to watch his knees - TE in the slot, coming back in toward the linebacker, hard and low? Maybe even a WR - like Mr Marshall? - we'll have to watch how IK gets blocked

Mr. Marshall couldn't stop this? Was he off somewhere talking about how he was the only one that held Cutler responsible...he should have been there to keep his guy Geno in check...many are happy to see IK get another job.
