Him being hurt is not what I'm happy about. Him opening his mouth like an idiot and getting popped is what I'm happy about. It opened my eyes to what Geno Smith is and now the organization is better for it and we can move on.
Right on. This is absolutely true. This incident exposed Geno Smith for what he truly is. It also exposed Geno Smith to the fans and people in general. I do not condone violence against teammates. I do not condone what IK Enemkpali did. He should have been cut.
But make no mistake about it, if it weren't for the fact that Geno Smith is the starting QB, he would have also been cut. This is a prime example of how players are never treated equally, but they were treated fairly.
The Jets are well aware of the POS they have in Geno Smith. I'd be willing to bet that if MacCagnan and Bowles were able to give their true feelings about Geno Smith, they would not have one good word to say about the idiot.
The Jets already knew that they were going to have to replace the starting QB as soon as possible. All you have to do is look at Geno's stats to know that. That's why they drafted Bryce Petty.
As for Geno.... He's got one more chance to try and unf*ck his QB play. He will inevitably fail miserably at that just like he has every other time. Geno's days are numbered in NY. More than likely, Geno Smith will be cut or traded at the end of this season.
