Everyone wants to knock Fitz for being a 10 year vet, but how many QBs never come anywhere close to that long a tenure? At this moment do you think Geno will be in the league 10 years from now, never mind starting?
I know hope springs eternal when "potential" is involved, and I would love nothing more than to see Geno achieve it. But the fact remains 6 different teams looked at Fitz and said "I think this guy can help us" -- do you think Geno ever reaches half that amount?
I never looked at the variable as an ability to judge future success...how many teams had hope in Fitz and shortly thereafter didn't...
Well, maybe the 6th or 7th team is the charm. Tavaris Jackson is on a similar trajectory.
I think as some have said this will be an elite group of WRs in a familiar system...im hoping he far exceeds his past "successes" this year with Gaileys and him working with decker and Marshall.
