You can even tell by the play calls and routes...he cant make all the throws. Watch where the WRs are running...short, short, short. Expect lots of slants, WR screens, bubble screens, and TE strikes. Safeties will be 15-20 yards off the line all season

Yeah he should have caught it, but the lack of zip is more alarming than a dropped pass. Drops you can fix, but you can't fix a weak arm, it is what it is and its not getting any better. Super is exactly right about this (below), its Chad Pennington (post shoulder surgery) all over again, only this guy was never as good as Pennington:
