Mac better find a way to trade for a viable starting QB with enough arm to win Games at Metlife and in the AFC East, perhaps Metenberger or Kirk Cousins, because WE'RE DEAD with Ryan Fitzpatrick ... DEAD TEAM WALKING ... NO CHANCE to compete for a playoff spot. Geno may suck, but at least he has an NFL arm ... this is pathetic.

fitx actually is better at the long ball than the outs or the short to med passes i watched alot of game tape on him and he has a beautiful long ball.

i'm hoping the fitz is still getting his legs underneath him. he missed all off-season with a broken leg and hasn't been getting a ton of reps. hopefully as he works his body (and importantly his legs) into shape, he will have a little more zip on his passes. now obviously he's never gonna have a gun. but i'm hoping it's better than what we saw today.

i was hoping he'd play like that, yes. I wanted Sanchez to play like a HOFer too, and I will for the next young QB too.

I dont root against my QBs...I hope Fitz is an awesome game manager that can steer the ship...but I've seen enough of Fitz to have doubts...and O'Brien didnt trust him...Wisenhunt didnt trust him...but I guess im crazy...but Ill sit on their boat to crazy town. You can sit with Sg3, Cy, and SE...i'd sit closer to SE if I was you.

Come on Hobson, you know 55 or anyone else doesn't want think Geno will be a HOFer. If he does then that's great but no one thinks that. We just wanted to see and believed he would improve with a real offense behind him. At least be as good as Fitz and that honestly ain't saying much. Anyway, back to the game that I can't watch until I get home from work. Actually tomorrow when its recorded.

Why would you hope for 8-8?

The worst thing you can be in football is 8-8 with no QB, because it all but assures you're not getting an elite QB prospect in the draft barring a miracle, and you didn't even have the consolation of making the playoffs.

Give me 10-6 or 2-14 over 8-8
