except the starters played 1 series on offense and 2 on defense. and our QB has had 1 practice as the starter. and mo didn't play. and the play calling was plain vanilla.
so this game has absolutely no bearing on what the team will look like in the regular season.
I'm not. But we didn't see the starters play a full game. There will be some positives here that the team can build on. Also, it's good the team is facing some adversity right now from the beginning. We will find out sooner or later bout this regime and the team.

Its alarming ... this doesn't even look like a professional football team.
I don't expect the team to be in midseason form for the first preseason game, and I know we have guys out there now who will never play in an NFL game that counts, but still, you would like to see some semblance of professionalism and passion, you would like to see a team that was prepared to play a football game.
I do respect Bowles though. He's a hard ass. There was a lot of respect in the locker room I bet after he made them run gassers mid practice and then get back into team drills. These are grown men told to stop what they're doing and run like it was the end of practice, then get back on the line and do it again and better.
I think the Jets are in for along week of practice and will play more inspired next week. they have to be emotionally drained.

Greg Salas beats Dex...........Again
1st pre-season game and the emotions are high, you can't say we aren't passionate.
