I know a little but did anyone watch his games I would love for him to take the third string job if petty gets promoted to number 2.

Then hopefully in two years after fitz is gone petty is frabchise and heaps is number 2.

Can he rise to the occasion as it looks like he will get some good playing time tonight.

We'll see him tonight for probably most of the second half in Detroit

He sounds like a real long shot to even make the team. Everything I have read says he needs a lot of work.

My guess

Petty takes over after 3 series or so in the first and plays the second and a couple of series in the third. Heaps takes it from there

Heaps if anything, will go to PS. Jets will at some point, when some one becomes available, sign a vet QB to be back up
