I Honestly Don't Think I'll See Them Win another Super Bowl

I told my children that years from now if I'm in an old folks home, they are to get me to the Super Bowl if the Jets make it there. If that's not feasible, just get the TV in front of my face, volume up.

If I'm in my grave, just mark it with green flowers or a Jets emblem.

That's where I'm at with this team.

You will see them rise in the AFC East. As soon as the devil collects Belichick's soul, it will be our time to dominate for a bit.

Who knows. NFL turn around is rather quick. Make a few good moves and you are right back in it. Lets not forget we made it to two title games with Sanchez, the playoffs numerous times with pennington, and a title game with an old Vinny.

It only takes one season to cloud things over or shine light on it. We could be signing a different tone one year from now.

Obviously just a defeated statement from you. Tomorrow is another day.

I try to be optimistic about the jets but it is very hard because we always goof somewhere. We can never put it all together except for 1 time in my life that was the 98'season. We just got beat by a good team but we could have beat denver.

I never thought we had a chance with sanchez we were lucky on those teams that manning rested.

I didn't think we could beat pitt at all.

Wow. 98 we were a very good team and probably the only time I can remember expecting to win and feeling completely confident. We did face a very good team in Denver but we could have won if not for the second half turnovers.

The first year with Sanchez was a fun ride but looking back it was really just a crazy year. Year two however was a different story. That was a very good team outside of Sanchez and some lingering growing pains. I wouldn't say I expected to beat Pitt but I definitely felt like we could and should have. If it wasn't for the defense not showing up in the first half we would have.

For all of Sanchez's faults he always played well in the playoffs, especially vs Pitt that year. He actually came very close to bringing us back. Its a shame of what could have been. I think we go in a beat green bay if we make it to the Superbowl as we matched up well with them.

Its hard now I know but there is always hope for next year. We are not as bad as our record. I think we very well could be one of those worst to first teams next season.
