Bowles said they tried to wait it out but it wasn't getting any better, so he's having surgery and his season is over.

An article was just tweeted 4 hours ago saying he was getting healthier. IDIOTS!!
I had the exact same thought, flg, and I edited my roster projections to reflect that exact change.
OK, this was very frustrating to read but i will try to be an adult about it & hope we can still get something out of him going foward..

Are you ever right on the Williams knee thing, not to mention Mauldin. I thought for sure he was gone.
Never want to see a player hurt but this isn't the end of the world, IMO Enunwa will do very nicely as the H_Back.
Think Amaro was deeply in bowles dog house even before the injury.

Probably better at it than Jace. He looks like a TE and was supposedly a great blocker at Nebraska.
This isn't that big a deal fellas....... To be honest with you.... Amaro plays soft.... and Enunwa is quicker and a better receiver, and probably a better blocker. Gailey isn't known for using TE's anyway, and if we keep the same staff next year.... not sure Jace would be a factor anyways
Funny thing..... out of the 2014 draft.... the only potential impact players left are Pryor (maybe) and Reily (maybe)

Enunwa will surprise people. But are we sure that Gailey doesnt use the tight end that much? I remember Scott Chandler having good numbers with Fitz/Chandler in charge. I also think having a good security blanket at tight end is important for fitz and his limited arm.
