the difference is the CBA clearly spells out the punishment for sheldon and he failed multiple drug tests.
as much as we all want to hate on brady, the CBA does not spell out the punishment for what he allegedly does, nor is there any evidence directly tying him to the offense. it's very possible he's guilty, but there is nothing akin to multiple failed drug tests. whatever the science is on pressure in footballs, there is not one piece of concrete evidence that says brady told the ballboy to lower the pressure in the ball.
there is no smoking gun. just circumstantial evidence. in sheldon's case, the multiple failed drug tests are the proverbial smoking gun

The CBA is a white privilege document and it needs to be challenged in court.
Incidentally, Judge Berman essentially said "F**K THE CBA" today, I'm just playing by his rules.
No it hasn't, its taken a turn towards the Patriots way of doing business, which is to make any argument you need to make, no matter how seemingly absurd, the important thing is the result, making sure Sheldon Richardson plays in these games.
If you can't see that, if you prefer to play nice while the Patriots fight to kill, thats your choice ... but its not mine.
Whatever Works, muh-man ... thats the lesson we learned here ... no argument is off limits ... make every argument you can make and hope something sticks.

I understand your frustration right now Ham, as I am as well. However, I will never fight to defend Sheldon Richardson ever again. Driving so haphazardly, avoiding police officers, high as a kite, with a 12-year-old in the car, does not warrant any fan support ing this player. Add in that he does not have an ounce of humility when speaking to the fans through the media is quite alarming and ugly as well.
When we finally reach the pinnacle, and win the Super Bowl, we will do it with integrity and without players who act like Sheldon Richard. Hang in there, I know you're frustrated, along with the rest of us

That said, here's one argument I'm making if I'm Sheldon, after I lawyer up and take this thing to court:
I'm collecting the data of every player who has been suspended due to marijuana in their system.
Then I am breaking the suspensions down by race, and by sheer observation I KNOW the numbers are heavily skewed towards black players.
Then I am arguing the drug policy is racist, the definition of a white privilege document and a violation of equal protection.
Remember, I DON'T CARE IF YOU THINK ITS LOGICAL, there's a lot the Patriots/Brady argued that insults the intelligence of any thinking human-being, but they had the hutzpah to make the arguments regardless, and hope something sticks.
The Patriots taught us to argue anything, so long as you are making an argument and smearing Goodell, be relentless and don't care about what the outside world thinks, ultimately all that matters is one bleeding heart Judge to agree with you.
