Do you have any factual basis for that accusation, other than the fact that you don't like the result? Because accusing someone of serious malfeasance in their field without any evidence is extremely out of line, and if someone did it to you, you would not appreciate it.

Well the 3 women on the supreme court have all performed gay marriages one might think they had a bias and should have recused themselves from that case.. So it's not hard to believe that a judge appointed by Clinton may have a bias like flgreen said..

Nick, with all due respect, do you know how many threads there are in this forum that I have absolutely no use for?

A LOT, so I just don't post in them, I don't feel like I have to announce that I have no use for those threads because obviously some people do, thats why they are posting in them, and thats perfectly fine with me, we don't all share the same interests. Some threads that interest me may not interest you, some threads I find distasteful or objectionable you may find stimulating and necessary, and visa versa, to each his own man, but why feel like you have to be dismissive of something other people are engaged in ... if you don't like it, just ignore it, that will save you a lot of aggravation.

I agree there are some threads I skim and some I read every word. My point goes to the tone of threads and the direction they are going in. 1st off I do not like all the personal attacks. There is absolutely no need. As I understand it this is a Jets sports forum not a place for racial , religious or political opinions. If i'm wrong my bad I found the wrong place. IMO if posters stayed off these issues the personal attack nonsense would stop or at least slow down.

IOW's I was behaving like every Patriots fan on the planet earth who threw a tantrum and launched one unfounded conspiracy theory after another to get Brady off. Some people in this thread GET THAT, and some people don't. If you are one of the latter, thats fine, but please don't mischaracterize the tone.

Honestly, the only person who has been personally attacked in this thread is me, but thats okay, its been fairly mild.

FLG, we have a political forum, if you want to move this thread there, because the conversation has taken a turn towards the political, I'm totally fine with it, in fact that might be the best idea seeing as where the conversation is now.

To be fair to all involved. The threats came out of left field from someone not involved in the discussion lol. Now that [MENTION=9]flgreen[/MENTION] is mod, we can revisit the politics part. Last thing I want is resentment towards each other bc someone is a liberal. We already have the pro Geno/anti Geno debates

Passions run high but FWIW I don't think the discussion was particularly contentious. You know, we may never get to a point where we see eye to eye, but the discussion itself is valuable because it develops ideas and gets people thinking, and maybe the arguments which do not succeed in persuading one another will succeed in convincing a third party. The discussion is worthwhile and I do not feel like I was disrespected in any meaningful way (considering the remark in question was apparently not a reference to a physical threat), and I hope that I was respectful on my end. But to the extent that I wasn't, or to the extent that anyone feels disrespected or attacked by me, I sincerely apologize for that, as it is not my intent at all. Johnny, as far as I am concerned nothing was said by you that personally offended me. I actually had fun debating with you.

Some comments were made by others that IMO stepped across the line, but IMO all is good between us.
