IMPROVING???????? What team have you been watching? If they lose the guy that was clearly winning the QB competition due to the QB's stupidity, that constitutes getting BETTER?! If they lose their best TE on the roster for the season, does that constitute getting better?!

Let me fill you in on some important details..... The NYJ offense SUCKS. They may be able to run the ball a little, but their QB is a retread failure from multiple cities. He will inevitably find a way to snatch Loss from the jaws of victory and he's proven that many times in the past.
This team is 8-8 or 7-9 at best. They're terrible and you'd better get used to that idea.

I can see the Jets winning this game. Although, with their offense they will barely be able to achieve the feat. I'm thinking something like 19-17. Posters need to remember the Jets are just as terrible as the Browns based on last seasons record.
Whether you like it or not, this team is improving. We have a solid receiving core, a defense I expect great stuff from. We might struggle offensively but don't be so quick to count us out. I think anywhere from 7-9 to 10-6 is what we should expect.

Their own coach said they are "improving each week" and it isn't some dillusionist optimist like Rex Ryan....he is a level headed guy.. Also...IT WAS A THREAD ABOUT THIS GAME and their chances....this is a ..everyone knows..well you should the first couple of games of the year has to be an improving ground since they don't hit that much during camp anymore...good opportunity to keep improving against a team that even if they struggle SHOULD beat. this is ..not in the season prediction thread..which is like throwing a dart anyway...

Obviously, nobody knows what to expect on Sunday with this game. The Jets have a new coaching staff, including new coordinators, and a new QB. It's anyone's guess how this game is going to look. I can see some growing pains with the offense just as easily as I can see Fitz hitting receivers with regularity and Ivory pounding the rock down their throats.
I still think the Jets pull one out at home. Wel'll have the home crowd energy behind us.
