Let's see if Rex Ryan is able to break his streak of losses coming off of a bye! The fan in me wants us to win but I know the best result for the Jets future would be to lose, lose, lose.

Should be fun watching Chris Johnson and Percy Harvin play on turf. Those two are two of the fastest at their positions.

Know it's in their best interest to not win another game all year, but the fan in me won't let me root against them, so all I can say is GO JETS

I agree -- me too. Do you think we can win this game? I really do. Buffalo barely beat us last time and we had a ton of turnovers!! Thanks for signing up by the way. I really appreciate it! Go JETS!!!

Actually I expect the Jets to win. I think they are going to go 4-2 in the final 6 games just to drive the fanbase crazy and lose out on both Winston, and the Duck. LOL.

Here's a Cimini article, no I'm not Kelly, but articles by Cimini always seems to get Jet fans riled to post, if anymore show up

Prediction: Jets will beat the Bills

DETROIT -- I have to admit, I liked the Bills in this game at first, but that was before their week was disrupted by the snow storm. Football players are creatures of habit, and I have to believe last Friday's displacement -- coupled with the loss of one practice -- will affect them.

The Jets are well-rested, coming off the bye, and I think the change to prime time will add some juice for them. Their other motivation is payback, a little redemption after getting blown out by the Bills in the previous meeting. The Jets are 0-4 on the road, having been outscored by 54 points – the third-worst point differential in the league. But I think that gets thrown out the window because this game will feature two "road" teams, basically.

From the Jets' perspective, the No. 1 concern is blocking the Bills' front four. That'll be a problem, which is why I think Michael Vick will finish as the leading rusher.

Shame on the Jets if they let the Bills have a big offensive day. The Bills have gone 21 straight possessions without a touchdown. They make the Jets look like an offensive juggernaut. Kyle Orton, who tore apart the Jets at MetLife Stadium, is struggling. This is one of the few games where the Jets can honestly say they don't have a disadvantage at quarterback.

Prediction: Jets 24, Bills 23

LOL. Everyone hates Cimini but I feel like he turns out to be right most of the time. It's weird, I guess we as fans, don't want to admit it and trash all the journalists who's job are to be objective.

Hmmm, I like your prediction and I feel like it's very possible. As long as Vick protects the ball from here on out, I don't see us being unable to compete in games. Also, Vick's chemistry with Percy will continue to evolve.

I think Buffalo is going to come out strong. They have a lot more riding on this game than we do. They need a win to keep the post season alive. I also don't think that there practice schedule will have an affect on the team. We are going to be very sloppy in this game.

This is true. There are also some other factors in the Bills favor. 1) The Jets under Rex have been horrible after the bye. He had them practice an extra two days we'll see if that helps.

2) Not only are the Bills off schedule, but the Jets are to. They haven't played a game in 2 weeks, excellent possibility they will be rusty.

Still think the Jets are going to win. Yes, the Bills still have playoff motivation, but the Jets also have motivation, and they showed that against the Steelers. Like it or not, the players love Rex. Particularly the defensive players. They are going to play balls out to keep him as their coach. Everybody loves the role as a spoiler.

Vick and Harvin have major reasons to play all out. $$$$$$$$$

Vick needs to show that he can still be a top QB, and earn good money. He has his chance now, if he plays poorly he could find himself out of football next year.

Harvin is a super talented head case. The Jets seem willing to showcase him as his traditional role of KO returner, and gadget play master. he can do that. What the Jets also seem to be trying to do with him, mostly out of necessity, is to actually use him as an outside WR, where he has failed before. The only way he is actually worth $10,500,000 next year is if he can play traditional WR . He is going to get his chance to do that.

Also I honestly don't think the Jets Personnel is as horrific as their record indicates. Think Smith was a major part of the problem. Sadly the kid just doesn't look like an NFL QB. Think Vick is a much more popular locker room choice. Decker, has also been playing with a sprained ankle since camp. Read an article the other day in which he said the time off has really helped him. We'll see.

The Bills manhandled the Jets last time around. It's only human nature for them to think this is going to be a roll over game. Don't think this is the same team they faced a few weeks ago.

Think it all adds up to a win by the Jets if Vick protects the ball

FlGreen,

I think your analysis on offense is very true. Just not sure it will come to fruition. I think the personal is not that bad it is just that the NY media and expectations is getting the better of everyone. It is playing a huge factor that this squad as lost their mojo. Example, last season we heard of the SOA this year during games where are they. I'll admit only they can do so much when you have wide open receivers. I just don't think we can handle the Bills D-line right now or their defense. The Jets have a lot of missing pieces and injuries to our starting secondary will play a huge factor into it. Between Mcdougle and the corner from Bama who hardly plays ;). We are starting behind the 8-ball.

If we are able to build a drive we must finish. I just think this team is missing a little swag and it shows. Not having a reliable QB is ultimately one of the main concerns and I don't think the answer to the question is in this draft.

The CB from Bama who hardly plays, is hardly playing for a reason. Dee Milliner is on IR with a blown up Achilles. This is a devastating injury for a CB. It is possible we may never see him again.

I have to disagree with you about no QB's being available in this draft. I think there are 2 QB's perhaps 3. Both "The Duck" from Oregon, and Winston would be immediate upgrades over Smith. Both have somewhat of a bust potential, but so does everyone not named Andrew Luck who has come out recently. Winston particularly has tremendous upside if he gets over his immaturity problems.

Cook is another good looking prospect, if he decides to come out. Right now he is saying he is staying in school unless someone convinces him he will be an early first rounder. We'll se when they start waving $ in front of him

I know we definitely need a QB but behind this O-line I don't think a rookie would be successful. Either we draft a rookie and have him sit behind Vick, until his inevitable injury, or we build up our offensive line. Look at the Cowboys, they went from being a joke to a top team in the NFL with a great O-line that gives their QB time and opens up holes for their running game. We need to replicate that here. You'll see the Bills defensive line will give our aging O-line trouble today.

I agree with Geo. Oline is where you build success. Give any QB time and he will find his man. Look at Sanchez. He's looking quite decent when he isn't laying flat on his back. Ugh, watching this team can be so irritating because it seems like the Front Office does not see what the fans see when it is clearly right in front of them!

What do you think of Rontez Miles? I remember reading camp reports that he was having a great August but I'm not sure if he even played a game this year. If he was any good, I would have expected him to play considering our secondary is depleted.

I'm excited about Marcus Williams, he played great against the Steelers and he was great in college. Almost game time!

Will the crowd be pro-Bills or pro-Jets? Looks like a bunch of Bills fans there.

It's game time. Everyone has hit some great points. Let's see what gang green can do! I will say this we always win the strangest games or the ones that don't matter.

Awful punt. Typical Quigley. He's probably the most inconsistent player ever. Team looks rusty.
