What does that mean Mo?

It means that the majority of the people are betting heavily on the Colts. An insider (wise guy) who thought the line was imbalanced could make a killing on the Jets.

If his info is accurate. If it isn't accurate, another wise guy breaks his knee caps. :).

In all honesty what it means is that more people are betting the Jets late, and pushing the line down.

A book maker wants to balance his bets. And collect the 10% from the losing side. A smart bookmaker never gambles

Yea that's about it in a nutshell
And the info is accurate from Vegas
71% betting public money on the Colts 29% Jets
Usually this pushes the line up
Solid 7 all week dropping hard today
My kneecaps have never been broken
But my bank account has
Good thing my wife doesn't read here
At least I don't think she does?

Seldom bet the NFL. To heavily scrutinized, hard to find real overlays. Play a lot of NCAA. Prefer less know teams. The alumni are often fanatic's, and because of less national intrest in games, the lines can be pushed around.

Find a lot of, "are you kidding me?" lines. Just easier to work with

What does that mean Mo?
Big Mo is obviously a gambler, or he understands gambling.

It means the Jets might be primed for an upset. Vegas is not in business to lose money. They carefully design these lines to split the action, so they win on the vig regardless of who wins or loses the game. When you see all of the action heavily flowing in one direction, its usually not by accident, its by design, the oddsmakers weren't looking for a split, they are looking to make a killing, and when they get that idea, the smart gamblers (aka the sharps) bet the other way.

New Orleans that wiped out our survival pool this week is a perfect example. I guarantee you there were "sharps" who bet the Bucs this week, because they saw everybody jumping on the Saints.

I really long for the early days of internet gambling. In NCAA basketball it was easy to find games from different sites you could middle.

It was like stealing. Just not that many opportunists any more
