The Jets will work out free agent Terrelle Pryor next week, a source confirmed.
Pryor, a college star at Ohio State, switched positions from quarterback to wide receiver this spring after failing to hook on as a quarterback with the Bengals. He spent training camp with the Browns, who released him last week just before they played the Jets.
Pryor spent his first three years (2011-13) with the Raiders. He started 10 games at quarterback for Oakland, throwing nine touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
Behind starting wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, the Jets have Quincy Enunwa, Chris Owusu, Jeremy Kerley and rookie Devin Smith.
