So now we have a pissed off Dolphins team to contend with

I'm not gonna get all long-winded about this, by now we all know the drill, Miami is 1-2 and they are viewing this as a must win game, so expect to get their best effort next week.

You think I'm overstating it?

Mike Pouncey in his own words: "We gotta win next week. Next week is a MUST WIN. If we don't win that game there's gonna be a lot of pissed off people around here."

So if you are expecting the same Dolphins team Buffalo manhandled yesterday ... think again.

And if we give the same effort in London that we gave in the first half verses Philly, WE WILL get our asses kicked again.

Its that simple.

and Green Jets & Ham, we're coming off a very winnable game vs the Eagles that we lost. This will be a good crucible to see how Coach Bowles fixes our mistakes heading into the next game.

We haven't played a divisional game yet. So far we're 2-0 vs AFC teams. We're flying to London against a team that is in the same situation we were last season at this very time:

A team in disaray with a lame duck coach. The Dolphins are spiraling out of control and yes, week four will absolutely be a "MUST win" for them. Though its also a "Must win" for us considering how competitive this AFC east is. Buffalo is one game behind the Pats. We're behind the Pats. This is a game we MUST WIN.

As we know, Phins / Jets games are always a thrill to be part of. Both of these team will be up for it.

couldn't one say the dolphins are facing a p'ed off jets team? perhaps it's only based on hope, since his track record is obviously shorter, but i'll take bowles and his coaching staff over philbin and the phin's staff. philbin's teams have shown to be chokers when the pressure is on. i'm not too worried about facing a pissed off dolphins team. i'm worried about the jets being able to execute their game, and hopefully decker and ivory being healthy.

Better win this game. It will be interesting to see how we respond. Can't be flat. Pats and Bills will be very tough.

I would certainly hope so after the way they slept-walked thru that first half and got embarrassed in their own building.

Another effort like that (down 24-0 before they blinked) and Bowles should start benching people, during the game.

That was unacceptable. If these guys don't have a chip on their shoulders after that debacle, they never will.

This will be a good measuring stick to see what Bowles is all about.

Yesterday the team just wasn't into it in the first half. Either side of the ball.

Can't do that 2 weeks in a row against division rival. As Ham mentioned in another thread, I'm very concerned about the Suh Winters situation.

Hmmm familiar spot.... Bills beat up a team a week before we play them.... I'm sorry but I am not scared of the Dolphins.... There offense is not anywhere near as powerful as the Eagles or the Colts... Our D should and better handle them..... Our offense will rebound because the Miami D is exactly what a lot of people thought they would be.... not good. to much money on Suh and now they have no LB depth or secondary depth...

They are giving up a lot of yds on the ground and thru the air.. Ivory should have a good day and if Decker is back I think the passing game will get back on track... My bold predictions... Jets 27 Dolphins 14

I'm glad they are pissed off. Pissed off teams make mistakes and then compound them by trying to do too much. Hopefully we stay on an even keel and take this one because we need to rest some guys because we have a really long stretch after the bye.

I'm not scared of the Dolphins. They should be 0-3. I was weary of the Eagles, but not the Dolphins. I think we win this one.

I believe last game against Buffalo Miami was missing 2 starting offensive lineman, 1 being their starting LT. Not sure how serious those injuries are, along with TE Jordan Cameron, but obviously if they get all 3 of those guys back this week that will make a big difference. Lining up our D line vs their o line without their starting LT gives us a very favorable matchup.

I think we need to run the ball more. I know we were down big, but overall so far this year (We even saw a lot of it in the indy game) Gailey gets too pass happy, too often. We need to ride Ivory and Powell, and set up the play action passing game. I don't think Fitz passed once off play action in the last 2 games. With a qb like fitz, we need the play action pass action pass even more to hopefully make up for his lack of zip by having guys bite and our guys pop open.

Defensively it seems rather simple for me. Blitz them early and often, push guys back into tannehill, and let Revis/Cro/Skrine cover Landry/Matthews/Parker. This game could be one of those ugly 18-12 type games.

I honestly can't wait for this game. Bounce back from a loss filled with mental errors more than anything vs a desperate team not knowing where they're headed.

1-Fitzpatrick should get some help from Decker & Ivory becoming available to play at full health.

2-The defense will want to erase any notion that the 1st two weeks were a fluke.

3-Todd Bowles will have this team ready to go into the bye on a high note. @ 3-1, we will come back vs Washington here at Metlife with a plethora of players completely healed.

Sure it was a bad day yesterday, but anyone thinking we'd go 16-0 just doesn't understand that just doesnt happen. I feel the Jets will learn more about themselves from yesterdays loss than the first two weeks.
Mental errors. Getting back to basics. Reinforcing tackling. I think Miami better understand that the Jets they will be facing in Londen is a squad ready to make amends on what occured week 3.

We missed Ivory and Decker and started the game slow. The Eagles came out on fire and we couldn't stop Sproles. By the time we got into sync the game was 24-0.

We need to start faster against the Fins and kill their season in the first quarter. Get Marshall the ball early before going to the ground game.

This is a transitional year (we have had so many) so I don't expect much from the Jets---we still have the QB problem---the current guy is merely a caretaker. Dolphins are better on paper so it might be another long day.

You are way overstating this game. I see the Jets dominating the Fins in London. The players have too much pride to lose there. Just hope Dexter and Ivory are ready.
