Jets Worked Out RB Bryce Brown On Tuesday

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Jets brought in former Bills and Eagles RB Bryce Brown for a workout on Tuesday.

Brown, 24, was waived by the Bills a few weeks ago, and has already worked out for the Patriots.

Brown was traded to the Bills by the Eagles in a deal that sent a 2014 seventh round pick that ultimately became OT Seantrel Henderson to Philadelphia.

In 2014, Brown appeared in seven games and ran for 126 yards on 36 carries (3.5 YPC) to go along with 16 receptions for 176 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

Hasn't shown me anything either, other than why the Rams practically gave him away for nothing.

I wish we had signed Bryce Brown on the spot and cut Zac Stacy loose.

what about the kid the eagles let go that was running real good in pre-season his name escapes me but I wonder if the eagles added him to their PS. I like the way that kid ran.

Dont know status of Mostert. Looked good in preseason. But then again, so do lots of guys.

Speed is a good thing. Wonder whether Bowen also plays specials?

Don't really know much about the kid, except that he has a great size speed combo, and he put 4 balls on the ground in limited use his rookie year.

Always a little leery of big fast players who can't stick on a team.
