Well, let's not put him on the all pro team yet. He was benched for some snaps against the Giants because he made mistakes in coverages. Is he improving? Yes. But he's got a ways to go. He's got to be more consistent.

I read he had a minor stinger and that being the reason that he missed some snaps. I read nothing about him being benched.

He takes poor angles on occasion, but he's stepped up quite a bit from last year. I think he underestimates how fast some guys are. He'll continue to improve.

Honest assessment and I agree

3 Safetys, 3 players who's relative position in their draft order has flipped around a bit from 2014 to 2015.
Deone Bucannon was taken 3rd, but is by far the best of his class - though that was still debatable as a 2014 rookie.
No longer.

Dix was perhaps the best of the lot in 2014, because he played his FS position in Green Bay and had plenty of help around him.
He regressed a bit this year but that is partly because he probably is better suited to play SS in GB now, not FS, and GB does have other, maybe better, FS options - if they wanted to use them. (Casey Hayward, for one.)

Pryor was the least of the lot in 2014, primarily because of his situation, but he did struggle at times too.
This season he took a step up, as opposed to Dix's step back, and is now the 2nd best Safety from that 2014 class.

All things considered however, all 3 teams got a hella player for themselves.
Does HYATT™ still wish GB had drafted Bucannon, like he recommended?
HELL YES!
LMFAO.
That kid is one scary sumnabich football player - and AZ is reaping the immense rewards of his versatility.
