URGENT: The front page keeps freezing my browser

I have a feeling its certain ads thats doing it, but repeatedly I refresh or force reload the main page in the football forum and it freezes my browser (MAC with a Safari browser).

Its been happening fairly often over the past week or so, but tonight its become unbearable. It just took me about ten tries, ten refreshes, before it didn't freeze and I was able to post this message.

That's weird Ham. That hasn't happened to me yet. Which front page? Where you pick the forums? Or where the "articles" are?

I hate to take away your revenues and cost you money.

I'll let you know after you deactivate the ads, but I have a feeling its the flash ads?

Not sure, but my flash is up to date, I just checked it.

is it that way on all your devices or just your laptop.

Mine runs fine maybe you should double check your side first make sure it isn't your laptop

or your internet?

either of those could temporarily mess up your devices esp if no one else is having the same issues.

Its my home PC, its a MAC and a Safari browser.

Still happening like crazy, but not inside the threads, only when I load up the front page of this forum.

I'm still looking into disabling ads. Not sure why I am having a hard time to do this but I am working on it. Sorry for the delay.

Ok. I spoke to my friend who has a Mac. He said that lately Safari has been issues and he's been using chrome on his Mac. Prob is the ads though.

Yeah it looks like it was the ads, before it was freezing like crazy, since I returned after the ads were deactivated, it hasn't frozen yet. If it gets much worse I might have to consider changing browsers, but I hate to do that because Safari has all of my bookmarked websites and passwords. I'd hate to have to reprogram everything.
