As you can see, the site is back up and hopefully we never have to be down for an extended amount of time again. It really was unfortunate that the site was down during such an important week of Jets football. I really hope that you guys are able to jump right into the discussions like nothing ever happened.
I would like to send out a few shoutouts to those that made it possible for us to start posting. Thank you Gmf, tsec and Brandon for all your hard work on rebuilding the site.
We had to reinstall our VBulletin software once again because all files of the previous one were corrupted which means that we have lost some of the add-on features that were added over the past year, including Tapatalk.
For the time being, there will be no shortcut back to the forum at the bottom of each thread, we won't be able to direct our posts at people with the @ symbol and probably a few other features that we have grown accustomed to. We are working tirelessly on adding back those features as well as adding those that make sense for our user base.
To prevent us from going down again for a considerable amount of time, GMF will be an administrator on this site. He has a ton of experience running boards and building websites. He is also a huge Jets fan. Lastly, I have signed up for SiteLock which is an online security site which monitors the script of the site daily to see if there is any suspicious activity. I will also be backing this site up daily going forward so we don't lose a ton of data should the need arise that we have to revert to an older date.
As extra precaution, I urge everyone to go ahead and change their passwords. For those that haven't logged online in a long time, I will slowly make my way and edit their password. If you are unable to login, please use the forgot password tool to reset it. For extra safety, I have provided this password generator as a tool. (make sure to add this passwordsgenerator.net basically giving them no excuse). If you do not remember your email on file, please email elazanakis20@gmail.com and I will let you know which one you have used.
As a token of my appreciation for all those that have asked about the site and shown loyalty to both me and JFU, I am going to give out to two tickets to the Jets-Pats game next month. Just show your interest in qualifying for these tickets by replying to this post below. I will do a random drawing and post the winner the Friday after Thanksgiving (this will give ample time to those that don't visit frequently).
