So many reasons why we lost today. But what I've seen lately:
Our OL is no longer dominate in the run game. Very little push to open holes for Ivory. Is it the injuries to Colon and Nick? I'm sure that part of it. But 4 games of that? The plan should have compensated for the losses. Everybody knows the key to making us struggle is to crowd the line and jump the quick passes. We used to have success spreading the formation with 4 and 5 receivers, and make teams play more honest against that. If our OL isn't solid why would putting a rookie at QB make sense? It would just lead to other mistakes. Plus, how does a coach convince players that Petty gives us the best chance to win? I agree that we need a spark, but the vets just need to do their damn jobs.
Where is our dominating defense and where is our special teams? We were getting six off turnovers and scoring in the red zone. Now it takes us a half to get interested in playing. Maybe it's time to sit some vets and see what the second string can do. Our QB play is only part of the problem. Let's face it our defense isn't playing 60 minutes, and the tackling is shoddy. And other phases aren't winning enough battles to be effective.
Time is the time of year where teams begin to put things together. We need our run game back! Coaches, players wake the F%$# up! You owe it to the fans who spend their bucks and time to support you. Come up with some answers and do your damn jobs!
