If you liked Fight Club, it was mostly an updated rip-off of Hard Times (1975), only Hard Times is a better movie and there really was bare knuckle fighters during the depression era, and this movie brilliantly captured its essence. It stars Charles Bronson and James Cobern and both are terrific in his film. Its amazing too me that this movie does not get more recognition. This is a very clear version (link below). Its definitely one of my TOP 10 all-time favorite movies, and the fight scenes are awesome.

... and Lamar Mundane is my favorite commercial :1:

Its way better than the overrated SpikeLee/Michael Jordan commercials.

No I haven't, but I was a fan of the Bruce Lee movies when I was a kid in the 70's, even made my own nunchucks.

LOLz i've made my own chucks (a few times actually but don't have them anymore) in my youth & kept practicing with chucks into my 30's..

at my peek, i could pull off some pretty sweet tricks i taught myself..

I got good with them too, but not before I hit myself in the head a few hundred times. LOL

BTW kids are so over-protected nowadays, can you imagine the heart attack parents would have if their kids were playing with nunchucks like we used too, or skitching on the back of bus and truck bumpers when it snows?

Today kids can't even ride a bike with a helmet. If you wore a helmet on a bike when we were kids, the other kids would call you a homo, beat the shit out of you and steal your bike. LOL

I did like fight club , not for fighting but for the wierdness of the story.
As for fight films nothing comes close to
Raging Bull #1 far and away one of my favs

If you like those movies (and so do I), you'll love HARD TIMES, its too bad youtube deleted that link. Its about bare knuckle fighters (for money) during the depression. This was Charles Bronson's first fight in the movie.

**SPOILER ALERT**

I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone who plans on watching it, so let me tell you in advance, this is the last fight scene in the movie. After he cleans out all of the best fighters in New Orleans, including the reigning champ who was demolishing people until he runs up against Charles Bronson, the New Orleans mob (who owned that fighter) is determined to regain the crown, so they bring in a ringer from Chicago who is supposed to be unbeatable, and this is the fight.
