Here we go. Middle of November is where the playoff push begins to heat up. There are many teams in the mix, even with losing records who have a chance to make it to the 5th or 6th final positions to qualify to enter into the quest for a crack at the Superbowl. As we all know, once your in, any accomplishments that have been made during the regular season is washed away and all you need is four straight wins. Just look at the 2011 New York Giants winning it all at 9-7.

So far these at this moment in time the Steelers and Bills are 5th and 6th seeds respectively. Behind them is where we reside at 5-4. We're a nose inch ahead but it can all bottle up after this weekend as 6 teams are 4-5:

As we head into Houston, even though many are viewing this as an "Easy" win. The texans know whats at stake. They will bring their "A"game, we better bring ours. This second half of the season will provide whether we're playoff contenders or pretenders. Been a while since we were in a position like this, gotta say, no better time to be a Jets fan. LETS DO THIS!

Wow, all these teams have such easy schedules. Jets should just focus on themselves and take it from there.

Though, the best part is that we have them up in Buffalo, where we can actually knock them out of the playoff picture. Have Rex suck on that for the rest of the off season.

guys, last thursdays game is over.. we lost..

look at it this way.. we will absolutely find out what our team & head coach is all about tomorrow!!

a tough loss would be heartbreaking but getting thumped in a must win game would be flat out inexcusable!!

Today's game is must win... We lose today, we might as well activate Petty and really start to look to 2016...

Season wouldn't necessarily be over but would be a chance to see what we have!

Would be very disappointing!

It ain't over...yet.

But today's loss reveals much more to me than simply our 5th loss.

The Jets have looked like an entirely different team during this shit show of the last month. Like night and day. That's what's more troubling to me.

Stop Fellaz!!! Over??!!! no way!! Of course it sucks losing, especially vs the Texans, but we're right in the thick of this.

This is where we see what kind of coach we have in coach Bowles. I feel he will make the proper adjustments to steer this ship into the right direction.

If we beat the Phins, things can start looking very differently here:


Texans vs New Orleans- CANNOT SLEEP ON BREES. I feel saints will win knocking houston to 5-6

Buffalo vs KC- Cheifs are super hot, KC WINS which means, Buffalo will be 5-6, Backlash on that is the CHeifs will be 6-5, we'd be tied with them in the final wild card spot. Though they will be facing Oakland twice in the final stretch. Yet another team who is in the mix. But theyre one game back.

In about three weeks, we can hold onto the 6th seed and be in complete control of our destiny. Remember its about who finishes hot heading into the playoffs, not who's hot in week 11.

Let's start this fire tomorrow at Metlife baby!!

Also, let talk a little Pittsburgh steelers here. CUrrently they are at 6-5, sole possesion of the 5th seed. In the coming weeks, they will face some BIG BOY competitions:

Week 12- AT Seattle

Week 13-Indy

Week 14- at Cincy

Week 15-Denver

Week 16- at Baltimore

Week 17- At Cleveland


Make no mistake, this isn't Pittsburgh of old. They could easily be 7-7 heading into the Denver game. That game can go either way. Ditto for the Baltimore game. Even though the Ravens have been atrocious, they get up for this game, especially if they can become spoliers towards their hated rivals.


Our play off hopes aren't bleak as many fear.

Now that Fitz has shaved his beard (bad Ju-Ju) The magic is gone

Like with Samson, it will take close to Divine Intervention to get the Jets to the play offs. Always hope though.
