if we don't see an inspired team a nanosecond after kickoff, i'll go from being concerned about bowles to flat out worried..

if they don't play like their hair is on fire from opening whistle we have a real problem..

i think bowles is taking notes and there may be alot of surprised cuts in the off season.some players are happy with big paycheck and aren't going to play any harder than they have to. that was the mindset that rex installed over the last 6 years. no matter how bad they played they were the best. i think bowles is installing a new mindset and if you don't buy into it and show it with your play you are going to be replaced. at least that is what i hope is happening.

This will be an interesting game. We're right at .500. We may get some players back from injury, primarily Mangold. There will be some players being replaced due to lack of production, Erin Henderson > Demario Davis and Lorenzo Mauldin > Calvin Pace.

Bowles is definetly lighting a fire, especially cutting former 1st rounder Quentin Coples. Calling out players like Devin Smith, stressing accountability (ala Parcells). Also Judging from Chan Gaileys presser(), Bowles is strongly pushing on getting back to basics and not just bombing it out Daryl Lamonica style down the field. We have to start maintaining drives, juice out the clock and score Touch downs.

Also, Brandon Marshall has got to start being the ball hawk we saw earlier this year. This T-Rex arms attitude when the ball is close to him has got to stop. If it doesn't, Macc has to start looking towards Aprils draft to supplant this guy and get some one more reliable.

The turning point to the season begins tomorrow.

good post.. you take a win in the NFL when you can get one..

they're hard to come by & you only get 16 shots at them in the regular season..

but i believe this is a rare exception to that rule..

we've played so lethargic since the NE game, i want more than just a win.. i need to see guys playing like their hair is on fire to believe a real turning point has been reached, even with a win..

i agree we have to run the ball but only if fitzpatrick deal with taking snaps under center..

clearly running ivory out of shotgun ain't working..

plus didn't ivory gash miami in game one??
