Is our offense rounding into shape?

We finally have a healthy Powell and Enunwa. Both contributed majorly yesterday and I think will do so going forward.

Gailey loves the screens and Powell is much better at running them than Ivory. In either case, the emergence of Powell should rest up Ivory and enable him be beastly in these final weeks.

Enunwa is a great compliment to Decker and Marshall. He helps out blocking in the run game and in the passing game. His blocking sprung Brandon's catch and run during the TD drive, i believe.

I like our offense(minus having no TE involvement) overall but it's hard to measure when we really haven't beaten any above average teams. Lets face it, our schedule is super soft. Texans good D, we lost, Bills good D, we lost....

I know you can only play who's on your schedule but lets see our O put up #'s and beat the Pats and Bills.....but I'm staying positive!

that said, we almost beat the pats* , the bills & the texans as well..

granted, this ain't horseshoes & hand grenades but we are still looking at our best O in years & it's improving as we get healthier..

we do have a legitimate offense again in quite a while..

Enunwa and Powell make a big difference for us. Devin Smith got his first TD last week and Kerley is no slouch when needed. We should be able to create more Offense with a little ingenuity for the last 4 games. Save some special plays for the Patriots and Bills. Once our DBs get healthy we will be in great shape for a playoff run.

if ivory & powell play solid, the offense will have another big day..

fitzpatrick is on too good of a roll for me to believe otherwise.. we'll see..

Problem with the Jets O is they have no one to stretch the field.

Decker and Marshall are great, but D's are jamming the box. If Devin Smith can just get a bit more consistent this will be a very difficult O to contend with. Problem is it's a big if. Smith has been getting a lot of reps, as yet he's just not cashing in on his targets.

as we all know, smith lost so much valuable time/reps with his injury in camp..

Hoping he comes awake starting this week. Against the Fish he had a nice game and a TD. last week he had 46 reps, and 0 targets. Something going on there. CS is giving him tons of opportunity, he's got to start cashing in on them.

Either that or get Kerley back on the field

not opposed to kerley getting reps but unfortunately he won't help stretch the field..

smith with 46 snaps with zero targets is disappointing.. obviously..
