I'll make this real simple for everyone to understand. First, everything is predicated on the Jets winning out and getting to 11-5, otherwise they have no realistic chance to make the playoffs.
THAT SAID, assuming the Jets win out, when we started the day Sunday we needed either Pittsburgh or KC to lose a game between now and the end of the season for the Jets to secure a Wildcard, otherwise we were on the short end of all tiebreaker scenarios with KC and Pittsburgh.
BUT NOW, because Pittsburgh beat Denver on Sunday, we've added a third team to the mix that must win out, otherwise the Jets secure a Wildcard if they win out.
CHIEFS
STEELERS
BRONCOS
If we win out, all three of these teams must do likewise, otherwise they are OUT and we are IN.
However, if all three do win out, then they are IN and we are OUT.
Trust me, I've studied the tiebreakers carefully and its that simple.
Simple but I do find it hard to believe that we'll win out. We have the hardest schedule out of the four teams. Just glad we have the veterans on our team that know what needs to be done.
Go Jets, go Bengals!

I went to the espn playoff machine and we still have a scenario to get in if we lose one. I think it involved the broncos losing out?
I think we can get in with a loss to the Pats if any of Pitt, Denver or KC loses twice......
