I saw this team as a 9-win team, maybe 10, if all went right. Most has gone right, and they're probably going to be right in that range. I'm not sure what people on this board expected, but a lot of the "experts" presumed the team would win about 6. Granted, there's a lot of Jets hate out there, but still, the Jets would exceed expectations with a winning record, playoffs or no playoffs.

I figured 9-7, but when you have a chance to kill a bad team and lay an egg its just disappointing.

Yeah, this game should put all Jets fans back into reality of what our team really is. Mediocre at best and not a true playoff contending team.

The Jets are what their record says they are, an 8-5 team. Period. That isn't mediocre at best, it's mediocre at worst.

What a embarrassing display of football all around. If the Cowboys had any resemblance of a offense and QB at all, they would be winning by 2-3 TDs right now. Hopefully the Jets can recover from tis point and win this game with some kind o authority.

I agree, but, you have to realize we use this GDT as a sounding board/venting off the cuff board, too. We do come down to Earth....most of us, anyways.

draft a QB to be inactive all season where as in Fitz 2nd year no guarantees that prospect can replace him as backup
