I don't recall any talk of the Jets drafting Ryan that year. Again you just never know how it will fall. There is still a lot of evaluation left for these 2 QBs and much can change.

Me too but I think with the Jets that time has passed. If I was him I would take a TV gig and also collect the 4 million Woody owes him.. If he takes another coaching job he won't get the whole 4 mill depending on what a new team pays him..

plus there certainly doesn't seem to be eminent QB help on the immediate horizon here..

Rex has already said he won't take a DC job next year. Personally I think he will be hired again as a HC somwhere. If not he'll do what you said. Spend Woody's money, and have fun on TV. Don't think he'll pass a HC offer

about Rex's next job, Idzik's next job or whether or not either of them get one

I only care about what the Jets are going today and IMO firing both of them and employing NFL football people to find a new GM and HC are two steps on the right path to future success
