The Falcons have contracted Korn Ferry, the world's largest executive search firm, to help identify head coaching candidates in the event that the team makes a change at the end of the season, reports ESPN. Current coach Mike Smith will try to salvage a disappointing season against the Panthers in Week 17. If the Falcons manage to win at home on Sunday, they'll be crowned be corwedn NFC South champions.
However, according to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora, the Falcons would have to make the playoffs and likely win multiple games to keep owner Arthur Blank from making a change at head coach. The Falcons reportedly have interest in New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, Denver offensive coordinator Adam Gase, Arizona defensive coordinator Todd Bowles and Detroit defensive coordinator Teryl Austin.

Heading into next year, the Bears have the most players over the age of 30 with 17 and will also have the least draft picks in this years draft with 5. Top that with giving Cutler that outrageous contract then you know why the Emery was fired.
Until Wednesday when Saban announces he has a few interviews set up and Alabama gives him more money.

The 49ers and Falcons have both requested permission to speak with Broncos OC Adam Gase about their head coaching vacancies.
Under league rules, Gase can interview with teams this week because the Broncos are on a bye. It's unclear if he'll do so however, as he declined to talk to anyone last year until his team's playoff run was over. Gase has overseen a bit of a transformation in the Broncos offense this season, shifting from massive reliance on Peyton Manning to a balanced attack that features the run game and a quick-hitting pass attack. Gase, just 36 years old, has never been a head coach at the NCAA or NFL level.
