Actually I thought Woody did pretty well today. Compared to the mid season Idzik report he looked like Churchill

It's not how they looked or sounded. It's the lack of logic in the substance of what they said. That's the author's point. That Johnson lacked a plan. He expressed interest in a player under contract to another team (among other things).

People in power in competitive businesses don't announce their plans public ally, even if the simple minded expect them to do so.

IDK, I watched the interview, and reported it here as best I could, and I thought the plan was pretty clear.

He's hired two of the most respected people in the NFL to help him find a HC, and GM. This time the GM is going to be a football guy.

I don't know what more of a plan he could have at this point. Sounds good to me. It's how they implement it that is going to matter. The Revis thing IMO was nothing, a slip of the tongue. If he gets fined he gets fined. Not a big deal

Thanks again for your report. I cannot agree more. Woody has a plan, he even told us what he expects from the coach and what he doesn't want.

He has an idea. I think we'll get it right.

Man I hope so. IMO the Seattle trip is off to a good start. Interview a GM and HC candidate from the same team, on consecutive days . If the trio likes them, I hope the Hawks get knocked out of the playoffs soon to get this done. :)

The article did not feel they had a plan, but other posters think the plan was clear. But you feel that people in power don't announce their plans publicly? Where did you come up with that?

People in power don't read billboards? How does that work? As they ride in a car they happen to see a billboard and they think "I'm in power!!! quick turn away"? Please Roger, explain that to me? How do "people in power" avoid reading billboards? Suppose the billboard is reported on T.V., do these powerful people ignore the story about the billboard?

Here's to you Roger! You made me laugh!!!!!!!!!

I just doubt Casserly will leave his cozy job to go ahead and become a GM at his age. I think I read he's 66. Being a GM is a commitment.

He has a nice job as a TV personality, Corporate NFL Job and now he makes cash on the side being a consultant.

Why would he give all of this up for a full time position?

I agree with Elias being a GM is not something to start when your almost 70
