Everyone wants a riveting and productive place to discuss the issues, whether good or bad, surrounding our favorite team, the New York Jets! That's what this forum is all about – a place for us to argue and debate (respectfully) about everything that comes to mind. Great discussion and respect for other members is the key to success of the NY Jets Fanatics Forums. Hope you all will come to contribute, hang out and enjoy the community!

This is YOUR forum and growing this forum will take a "team effort!" So I want to share with you my short term goal for the forum and if we meet it, some of you can win some cash. By February 1st, that's nearly 2 months away, I want us to have at least 100 members and at least 500 posts - not counting my own. So if we REACH THE TEAM GOAL, I will be giving away $100 cash via Paypal to one person from each category below. That's $400 in cash prizes for showing up, participating and referring others!

CONTEST DETAILS

Date - Now through February1st. Come on we can do it!

Qualifying Event - We must meet the team goal above for any of the prizes to be awarded

Who Can Win? Any new member that posts and participates in our new community.

$100 Prize - Top referrer - Must refer 10 members that make at least one post to qualify. Most referrals by 2/1/15 wins. (Tell friends they must mention your name in designated field in the registration.)

$100 Prize - Best Post - Most content rich, valuable info in a post. This will be by nomination and vote.

$100 Prize - Most Valuable Poster - Winner will be awarded title MVP. I get to pick this one & my decision will be based on greatest number of posts & overall positive contribution to the community.

$100 Prize - The Secret Number Post - I have already picked a number. Whoever posts that number will win. (Exclusions - 1 liners, spam posts, my post and merchant or AM posts can't win. If one of these is the lucky post #, the prize will be awarded to the next post that qualifies.)

FYI, as of today, November 22nd, we have 5 members and 2 posts, both mine, about administrative topics. I have barely had a chance to tell anyone about the forum yet, so it's just starting to get active. I just started advertising, however, I'm really counting on you to help me build this forum into the great community I know it can be!

We will continue to have contests like this in the future with Jets tickets and prizes given away as the site begins to grow. We will be revamping the home page in the near future as well.

Thanks All. The participation has stepped up a bit over the last day or so. I have a few plans to improve the board and will write a post over the next few hours on what i plan on doing. I am probably making it seem more grand than it is but i'd like to keep you all informed.

Yeah after rome burns down (JI). Ill see what I can do to help you guys out. Nice board good function, go blow up JI with links before it goes dark. The all football all the time posters will like this place. My place is JI of old with 50 percent football 50 percent OT 50 percent fighting. You have a huge market of guys that like strictly football, thats the market you should be focusing on greatly. Good luck if i find a guy at my place lost in the cliquyness or group like atmosphere ill send him here.

Maybe down the line but at the moment it's not in the works. Just wanted to increase the membership of the board so it's a decent online community. Since we are few users right now, the costs to keep this site up are not much and I can handle. In the future if it gets pricey, i'll probably consider it.

The fact that you signed up and just post is very much of a help to us
