Forgive me if there is already a thread on this topic but I'm new here and didn't see it. My question is if the Jets aren't able to draft Winston or Mariota, do they stick with Geno? With the 6th pick both QBs will most likely be gone. I believe Cooper will also. If this will be the case, what will the Jets do then? I don't trust or want Geno anymore. IMO that week 17 performance was a once in a lifetime thing and not a indication of what he will be next year.
It was even more frustrating to see what Geno did that day because it makes you wonder what happened to doing that all year long? You wait to week 17 when it means nothing to perform like this! Geno has all the tools to be a very good to great QB but does he have it upstairs? Is he a natural born leader and is he tough enough to do it in NY-NJ and do it in a NY Jets uniform? So I ask you Jets faithful, should the Jets get another vet QB to start or draft a QB in the second round if Winston and Mariota are gone?
