So what's your coping mechanism for a season like this?

Is its another sport, video games, not watching the Jets period to lesson the pain etc-etc... Jets faithful, its been awhile since we have all gone through a season this bad. I'm guessing the Kotite days would ring a bell in all our minds. That was the last time I can remember a season this bad. Yes we have had losing seasons since the Kotite days but not like this.

The Jets had no chance this year for whatever reason. We can debate all day long it was because of Idzik draft picks and free agency moves or lack there of. It was because Rex Ryan knows nothing about offense, QBs and his defensive scheme aren't as good as some may think. Or its Woody Johnson dumbass fault for hiring Idzik in the first place and not firing Rex when he fired Tanny. We can debate all that and more when it comes to this team.

My question is how did you make it through a season like this? For me it was playing my franchise team off-line on Madden 15 on PS3. I created my own team and their pretty competitive and I love it. Plus I didn't invest much in watching the real Jets to keep me from throwing the remote through the TV. What was yours?

I was in three fantasy football leagues. I won two of them and came in third in the other. That was cool but nothing like Madden 15. Guess I'm alittle crazy that way. I realistically in my mind created a competitive team with most of our true players. I did make some trades and get some free agents the Jets don't have. I then worked with the team and made them into a competitive one. It kept me sane through this madness of a NFL football year we had.

It is Geno. The way I play with Geno it is way different then the way the Jets use Geno in real life. Short passes and a lot of read-option I play with Geno. I'm throwing for 70% with him, LOL. Don't get it twisted, I restarted my franchise many times until I got it right (meaning being able to manage the game with Geno).

I beefed up my o-line, changed my D to a 4-3 base defense and created a 4-3 playbook. Guess you can say I cheated which is ok because I have Revis and Cro on my team. I changed my offensive scheme and created my own playbook. Traded Chris Johnson and Ivory for younger RBs etc-etc... I'm serious with this dude, LOL.

He is but I wanted to go younger. So I traded Chris Johnson to KC for that beast 220 lb running back Knile Davis. I also traded Ivory to the Titans for Greene. I really didn't want to trade Ivory but I didn't want him being a back up to Davis. It was more of a respect thing because of how hard he runs in real life.

We all wish and hope for the same thing and every year are crushed the same way my man! When we drafted Sanchez I thought we had our guy. After year one I was very leary but gave him the benefit of the doubt. Year two I thought we were on our way to being onto something with his improvement. Year three he crushed my heart again but I was still holding onto hope and by year four I was done. When we drafted Geno I was hopeful but very leary because of the way he dropped in the draft and the Sanchez experience. By the first Buffalo game this year I was done with Geno so I know where your coming from.

My FF team sucked and the Jets were worse. Cowboys were good and Pats won SB. I still haven't watched ESPN or NFLN or looked up either on computer since the second Wilson threw that INT. Nobody is allowed to talk about what happened or they will be deleted from my life!!
