That is a incredibly stupid a$$ idea. Peyton will or should retire this year and if he does play, what he has one more year left in him at most. He is horrible in cold and windy stadiums which Metlife is no different or worse then Denver. With his neck injuries, other injuries, father time catching up to him, the fact that he's never been mobile and the fact he has never been a big arm thrower, WHY IN THE HELL WOULD THE JETS OR ANY TEAM DO THIS? He is a idiot or he must have been joking!

IMO Roger is right. He may have sounded serious, he wanted to sound serious, he just wants the phones to start ringing.
These guys don't care if you hate them, or think they are stupid, they just want you to react, to call the station to argue. That's what makes their cash register ring.

WOW! I hear ya man, he is a idiot if he truly wants the Jets to do this. I don't think (wait i know) there isn't another Jet fan or any fan of any team in need of a QB that would want or co-sign on this. This is as stupid as that dumba$$ Skip Bayless saying the Colts would regret cutting Manning to draft Luck. Even though Skip knew Manning would probably play no more then 3 years, maybe he could stretch it out to five. Even a blind person could see and Skip knew it aswell and admitted it that Luck would be great and play 15-20 years without any real injuries. But he still stood be the Courage of his Convictions as he would always say and stated that the Colts would regret cutting Manning for Luck. Too funny!!!
