I would rather we do nothing. Sign the cheapest QB, trade the #6 for 2 #1's next year and build through the draft. Forget about Bowles resume in wins and losses. Next years QB crop is better then this years. Let the kids play this year and see what gems may surface.

Chris Mortensen is floating out a rumor of Romo going to the Broncos and the Broncos trading Siemian to the Jets.... I am down with this trade... We send them Richardson for Siemian and a 4th or 5th.... I'll do it in a heartbeat

Jets are in talks with Denver for Trevor simien, could be a 3 way trade with Romo in Dallas. Cutler is the Jets backup plan.

Rather have a young Siemian than Cutler but I am not gonna lose my mind if we sign Cutler and older capable Veteran to bridge the gap to Hack/Petty or whoever we take next year is OK too

Saw the same thing with Richardson possible trade bait to Denver for Simien. Not sure how I feel about that. Richardson has to go, but I was hoping for a #3 for him. Getting a starting QB, although stopgap IMO, might make sense.

not a fan of richardson for simien unless jets were also getting back a pretty high pick.

simien isn't that good. that's why denver wants a new QB. i'd give a late round pick for him, but not a valuable asset like richardson.

Im not sure where siemian projects after only 2 games. Not too sure he's any better than what we have in petty, let alone losing a pro bowler for him.

If cutler is cheap, I have no problem watching him get tackled while the kids mature.

What do you mean after 2 games? He played 14 games completed 60% of his passed Threw 18 TD and 10 TD's 3400 yds..... Much better in his first real pro action than Petty.... And I love Petty... Throw him in the mix for this year and let the chips fall where they may among these young guys. Perfect scenario in a rebuilding season

Osweiler, houstons 6th round pick, and next year's 2nd rounder to Cleveland in exchange for Clevelands 4th round pick this year.

Cleveland is expected to trade osweiler.
