Defensive End Nick Bosa, Ohio State

Player School Year Pos HT WT
Nick Bosa Ohio St. Jr DE 6-4 263
Analysis: When watching Ohio State, there is no doubt that Bosa is a special player. He jumps off the screen with his excellent skill set and his ability to cause havoc in the backfield.
    • He has an excellent get-off that sees him fire off the snap.
    • He is also fast off the edge with the ability to quickly get leverage by using his speed to get an angle to the quarterback.
    • Bosa supplies a lot of quick pressure because tackles struggle to keep him from getting up field.
    • Nick has the agility to cut back to the inside thanks to his athleticism to bend and get underneath blockers.
    • He possesses excellent hands with functional strength to fight off blocks.
    • Has a burst to close, and can put quarterbacks down hard.
    • Bosa has developed technique and obviously has been working at his craft for years with his older brother.
    • Nick Bosa has the potential to be a good run defender.
    • He has developed natural strength and can hold his ground.
    • Bosa possesses the versatility to fit a 4-3 or 3-4 defense.
    • He has enough size and length to be a base end in a 4-3 defense.
    • He will probably get heavier with more weight on his frame as he ages.
    • Bosa also has enough athleticism and agility to stand up as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense.

  • How to improve the Jets offensive line woes...

Everything starts up front, and key issues in the first two games can be blamed on one player, James Carpenter entering his eighth season and he is yet to establish himself as a liable well rounded anchor at the left guard position. His style is a road grader, impact blocker while we are running a zone...

  • Terrelle Pryor Wants to Play, Run ‘Violently’

  • Pryor's mea culpa says a lot about respect for Sam Darnold

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Sam Darnold’s growing pains will last an entire season, maybe longer. That's how it goes with rookie quarterbacks. What's important is how he's received by teammates. Does he provide hope? Does he command the respect of the locker room? Adversity has...

CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson's fourth consecutive 3-0 start is no surprise. What has caught some off guard is how they have played.
