I’m rooting for AG and his CS big time. Hope they prove me right!
AG is getting the rare second chance in the same job. We've seen plenty of HCs fail.....learn something...and do better at their next stop. At least for my mentail well being, I've approached AG with learning from mistakes but needing to show progress. There was always an element of not trying too hard in 2025.....they had to learn the personnel and navigate the noise. AG didn't do well in managing the noise. But look at camp this year - they were buttoned up....no leaks.......players saying the right things......FAs wanting to come here.........call me stubborn, but the Parcells DNA in AG will never escape me and I do put trust in it......maybe too much.....but I think we have a top 10 GM and AG has already made enough of a leap to dispel the notion he is clueless.
What I feel negatively shadows too much so far is two words........Steve Wilks. I never understood the move. He didn't have a history and Wilks' wasn't in the same zip code of play style as AG. I know I sound crazy, but the only thing that makes sense was he was a patsy that just went way worse than AG bargained for......so bad that Woody (who btw is wearing a nice muzzle) played his money card to force AG to call the D. I don't think AG had that on his bingo card. That whole hire is still what baffles me on the 'plan'.
I think we can agree the HC and GM knew there was some sort of 'tank' for 2025 - they pivoted fast to making those trades and I believe Mougey even explained they were actual preplanned contingency moves before the season started. No secret a reset was the likeliest path.
So here we go.......new QB room...new OC......seems like a good pairing for now and later.

I agree with Big Moe maybe we can pay for ch to take a short hand course then he can translate some of these longer posts for the rest of us. Just kidding nice post
