Will Reichard Career at SchoolWill Reichard was the nation's top kicker by ESPN.com and on the 247Composite. He was ranked as the No. 2 kicking prospect by 247Sports and Rivals.com and rated as the top combination kicker/punter in the nation for the Kohl's Kicking Class of 2019. He made 27 of his 31 career field goals and went a perfect 109-of-109 on PATs for Hoover, also recorded a touchback on 186 of his 188 career kickoffs for the Bucs as well. Will was coached by Josh Niblett at Hoover High School and selected Alabama over Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma and Oregon. In 2019, Will won the starting kicker job for the Tide during fall camp and played in five games, but he was hampered by injuries midway through the season that limited him. Reichard totaled 33 points on 4-of-7 field goals and 21-of-22 PATs. Will also kicked off 29 times for 1,831 yards to average 63.1 yards per kick with 22 touchbacks. Will was alos called on to punt four times for 152 yards with a long of 41. Reichard assumed the field goal and PAT duties for the Crimson Tide as a sophomore. Will was named first team All-America honoree by CBS Sports. He totaled 126 points to rank fifth in the country and was perfect on all scoring attempts with 84 PATs and 14 made field goals in as many tries. He also contributed 69 kickoffs for 3,614 yards to average 52.4 yards per kick with 14 touchbacks. Will Reichard led the SEC and raked fifth nationally for total points scored with 137. He accumulated his points on 22 made field goals across 28 tries while adding 71 PATs in 72 chances. He racked up 6,264 yards on 106 kickoffs to average 59.1 yards per boot with 59 touchbacks. |
