Quickly sets up off the snap, jolts opponents with terrific hand punch, and shows explosiveness at the point. Stays square, keeps his head on a swivel, and works well with linemates. Helped North Gwinnett (8-3) throw for 3,425 yards and 39 touchdowns and run for 1,368 yards and 17 scores en route to the first round of the Class 6A state playoffs. Runs the 40-yard dash in 4.9 seconds. Bench presses 385 pounds and squats 485 pounds. Rated a two-star prospect by Rivals.com, 247Sports.com and Scout.com. In 2016, Alex redshirted.
